From: Canada. Coquette made it's first appearance in 1979, located in the small one bedroom apartment of Peter and Catherine Horea, with a single sewing machine tucked away in a corner, a crotchless panty took shape and was then marketed and sold to neighbouring stores in the Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario, Canada. Thus began the strong collaborative partnership of Horea's which still drives the company today. With Catherine's inspirational eye for design and Peter's entrepreneurial spirit, Coquette quickly became a popular product and the company continuously expanded to meet the increasing customer demand. Thirty-two years later the line has expanded to consist of hundreds of styles and has grown into a major manufacturer and distributor of intimate apparel worldwide.
